Swimming world champion: Farida Osman

Farida Hesham Osman she was born in Indianapolis in January 18, 1995, and after her birth she moved to her parent’s homeland in Egypt. She is a competitive swimmer who has represented Egypt in the international championship she competes in butterfly, freestyle and backstroke sprint events. She starts swimming at the age 5 with her brother.
She said that : “she started to fall in love with swimming right from the beginning; just being in the water makes me feel really good”.
She joined the Olympic game at the age 17. She recorded the 41sth in the 100m freestyle and 43rd in the 50m back and 33rd in the 50m butterfly and also 42nd in the 100m butterfly and 46th in the 100m IM. She won 50m freestyle she also the Egyptian record holder in the 100m freestyle and butterfly. She won at the 2011 FINA world junior championships. She ranks the 24th in the 100m butterfly and 40th in the 100m freestyle. She represented Egypt at the 2011 Olympic Games in London. She had a successful meet at 2013 FINA world championships. She scored 7th position in the 50m butterfly setting the African record. She also achieved 24th in the 100m butterfly and 40th in 100m freestyle. She ranks the 41st plays at the games in 50m freestyle. She was a member of a 2015 Pac championship team. She participated in NCAA women championships. Farida has rebelled against difficulties in order to make an impact in one of Africa’s afterthought sport.
Farida is considered as a remarkable symbol to look up to cause of her achievement in the field of swimming. She is one of few female swimmers in Africa that won an Olympic medal. She is a compatible person and that what made her a successful person not only in the field of swimming but also in her personal life.
